About the Role
CANiK is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to own and support the technology that keeps our offices, production areas, warehouse, conference rooms, and security infrastructure running. This is not a traditional computer-repair help desk role. The right person will manage day-to-day systems, coordinate vendors, plan technology purchases, support network and workplace infrastructure, and help deliver low-voltage, AV, security, and operational technology projects across the company.
This role works across Microsoft 365, macOS-first endpoints, a small number of Windows devices, UniFi and MikroTik networking, conference room systems, Genetec security, access control, alarm systems, RF scanners, printers, TVs, and other business-critical equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer Microsoft 365, users, groups, permissions, MFA, Teams, and access controls
• Support a primarily macOS workstation environment with a smaller number of Windows devices
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, device setup, endpoint configuration, asset inventory, and lifecycle tracking
• Plan, quote, purchase, deploy, and document printers, computers, tablets, RF scanners, TVs, conference room equipment, and other workplace technology
• Coordinate third-party low-voltage projects including network drops, cabling, cameras, access control, alarms, conference rooms, and related infrastructure
• Work with vendors and contractors to collect quotes, compare options, schedule work, verify completion, and keep documentation current
• Maintain and troubleshoot UniFi access points, UniFi switches, MikroTik routers, Wi-Fi, VLANs, VPN, ISP circuits, and network connectivity
• Manage internet service, circuit maintenance, vendor support cases, renewals, outages, and service escalations
• Support TVs, meeting rooms, Logitech Rally systems, displays, microphones, cameras, and related AV equipment
• Support Genetec security surveillance and access control systems, including cameras, doors, badges, permissions, and related workflows
• Assist with alarm systems, physical security technology, PACS/access-control workflows, and facility technology coordination
• Support RF scanners, tablets, mobile devices, printers, and operational technology used by warehouse, manufacturing, fulfillment, and office teams
• Build repeatable processes for support requests, purchases, vendor coordination, maintenance schedules, documentation, and audits
• Coordinate with operations, facilities, manufacturing, fulfillment, leadership, and global IT teams on technology projects
• Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, vendors, and infrastructure improvements that improve reliability, security, and speed
Requirements
2+ years of IT systems administration, workplace technology, network support, vendor coordination, or technical operations experience. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, macOS support, networking fundamentals, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, access control, surveillance, conference room technology, and physical security systems. Must be comfortable coordinating contractors, managing purchases, documenting systems, and supporting technology across office, warehouse, and production environments.
